Welcome to the Media Center! I love to read and love working in the Media Center with the students and teachers at Willis Jr High.
My Education and Professional Background
- BA in Elementary Education from Arizona State University
- MaEd in Curriculum & Instruction from University of Phoenix
- 10 years in grades 5th-8th in both Arizona and California
My Educational Philosophy
Reading and learning go hand in hand. A strong foundation in both will help with future success.

Reading Challenge
This year we are reading the rainbow! Once students have read 6 different books, they can earn a book from the vending machine.

Library Policy
In the Media Center
We close occasionally for testing and other school functions.
Please do not eat or drink beverages in the library.
Book Checkout
Students must show their agenda to check out a book.
Books are due within 14 school days.
You may check out 2 books at one time.
Return books in the return book slot.
Overdue Items
We do not charge fines for overdue materials.
Students will be unable to check out books if they have overdue books or fines.
Missing or Damaged Items
Lost or damaged materials must be paid for in full before additional materials may be borrowed.
